It was such a privilege to get to take such wonderful photos of the Ballard's soon to be new addition.  This lucky little girl will have the most loving parents...& in these pics I tried my darnedest to portray it!  I had a blast taking the photos, and feel grateful I was able to help them start their family photo album.  We'll see you soon little Brynn!  To view more of these photos go to www.tifsheppardphoto.com

"Shifting Orange" - 3 Panel Abstract

3 panels each: 18"x36" acrylic on canvas.  In this piece I tried to let the texture stand out and the fluidity of the piece be the main emphasis.  I love the organic feel of it.  Usually when I'm painting I create the lines, but in this case I let the lines create & direct me... if that makes any sense.  The buyer wanted lots of burnt oranges & browns.. which I love.  But have a hard time staying monochromatic because of my love for bright vibrant colors.  So staying within the warm color wheel was challenging, but the outcome was well worth it!  Overall size of the piece is 58"wide x36"high x1.5"deep.  scroll down to see the full picture of the entire piece...

Picture is sent from the buyer of the commissioned piece.. I think it looks amazing against the gray wall.

Updated "Honey Creek" Painting & Art Show Tonight!!!

With my art show tonight, I felt the need to spruce up this piece.. not really sure why, because before I loved it & now I absolutely love it & don't want to sell it!  But I will to the right person.  Very excited for tonights show.  If you haven't looked at the info, just scroll down to the blog posted a few days before this one..

Here's the new "Honey Creek" painting 36"x48"... inspired from the memories I have growing up out in the country and spending my summer days on the rope / tire swing over this creek.  My brothers and I actually had "regular clothes" and "creek (ok we actually called them crick) clothes"... the "crick clothes" just being really old torn up jeans and outdated t-shirts.  I guess with my tom-boyish childhood you'd think I'd do a painting of a child swinging on our old rope swing with our tree house in the background.. hmmmm... maybe that's my next one.

Art Show @ Vino Paladini

Very excited to be showing my work at this adorable restaurant in Benicia, CA.  With their 'cali' style portions, all their food is organic & absolutely delicious.  They also have an excellent selection of wine & beer to pair with your meal.  Check out their breakfast menu here.

"looking for reindeer"

My favorite picture of this holiday season.  I love how the snow has a blue tone to it, and the warm overall feel.  the lighting cast behind my (almost) 6 year old nephew Ethan, as he looks intently outside where there were a family of deer running behind my parent's house.  Classic Christmas Moment.
